SIMPLE LIVING QUOTE
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.”
–Melody Beattie
He Maketh No Mistake
My Father’s way may twist and turn,
My heart may throb and ache,
But in my soul I’m glad I know
He maketh no mistake.My cherished plans may go astray,
My hopes may fade away,
But still I’ll trust my Lord to lead,
For He doth know the way.Though night be dark and it may seem
That day will never break,
I’ll pin my faith, my all in Him,
He maketh no mistake.There’s so much now I cannot see,
My eyesight’s far too dim;
But come what may, I’ll surely trust
And leave it all to Him.For by and by the mist will lift
And plain it all He’ll make;
Through all the way, though dark to me,
He made not one mistake.- By A. H. Overton

Hm. My mistake. However, not one leaf has changed from green in the last week. So, I’m just not in the fall mood yet.

I guess I should try to enjoy it, shouldn’t I? It’s not like I get a lot of excuses to lay around the house all day. (or is it lie around the house? Mom tried so hard to teach me the proper usage of lay and lie, and I never did catch on.)
ryc-you so right, it not even funny…well, God gives me grace to enjoy that history…but that is it…
